Feeling Mexico

Looking back at life, seeing, feeling, touching, every aspect of what this existence has given me. Not knowing when the last breath will be given.

We all go in and out of knowing the unknown. To me life itself is a bigger metaphor for something no mind can comprehend, it needs to be felt in its immense wholeness.

Flying back to LA, between two epic chapters in my life.

I have always loved to fly because it gives me time between stages, friends, and places. It holds a space where I can ponder on what I have learned. To me the biggest thing I have learned on this latest journey to Mexico is this… People know matter what they have, always have a desire to be more, accomplish more, gather more. It’s funny but at the core of my own knowledge there is something that pulses, slowly at times, as it grows, overflowing till it’s a huge cannon behind my cortex, loudly saying you have it all inside you, why, oh why Selah do you search for the unknown when the vastness of the universe is within.

What I have been experiencing this past few year’s is an un-veiling within myself that reflects and attracts like minded people, places, and adventures I have only dreamed of. Each one of us, each one of us is so special, so unique, beyond where we come from, what job we have, what religion we follow, just under the surface of what we think we are is a vast oneness, a cosmic connection, as human beings.

We all have this perfection, this undying potential to love and create and be guardians of this earth. Guardians not destroyer’s of all that is holy! My friends from this trip to Guadalajara, the new and old, have shown me the truest kind of friendship, they lay their souls out on the table and I respect that most of all in a human. Not afraid of real connection, real relations. What my fellow neighbor’s have taught me is there is a lot more to humanity then meets the eye, no matter how bad it gets keep smiling, and sometimes you need to stare the darkness in the face, forgive it and let the reflection of your soul cleanse the darkness. It all start’s with you. One by one we will wake up this earth, this family. Through respecting ourselves and caring for other’s we will accomplish great things and create UTOPIA!

The Sweet Connection...

Flying away, feeling free and lifted. Even though I feel calm and centered, I'm still in wonder. Leaving Playa... Once again. Saying see you later to all my dear friends is so bitter sweet. I can't truly comprehend the connection I have made here. The experiences, the places I have been truly blessed to see. My eye's have been open wide to the mysterious presence of this Mayan land. The raw power of Mexico. The brother's and sister's of my neighbor land have showed me joy, compassion, respect, and true friendship. I am so thankful beyond all words to have met each one of you. There is not a moment that goes by that I forget the undying connection we have to each-other. Blessings and never-ending Love...

So the time is set in motion, traveling into the eye of the sun. Trying to cast away all my shadows of doubt to see a clearer tomorrow. Enjoying the companionship of my sister's and brother's and traveling into oblivion. Home is where ever I'm with you. Spirit guide's me home...

Playa Del Carmen. What a magical place. People from all around the world coming together to create a new way of life. Releasing there souls from the normal, dull, repetitive, way of living and embracing, the wild, present, moment. Last night it was a mix between burning man and the united nations... Funny I know but true. Were seeing the shift in consciousness, the new awareness of our body, our soul, and how we are deeply connected, rooted to the core of the universe. From where it all came from...

Guadalajara

For a city, Guadalajara is my top pick in Mexico. Guadalajara is an amazing, cultured, historic, city. The party seen is amazing, with places like The Salmon, The Rusty Trombone, and Las Americas.
Listening to epic local music such as The Oaths, going to psychedelic, underground, electronic parties thrown by Digitalique, some of the best parties I have ever been too. With beautiful nature surrounding the city as far as the eye's can see, and even more beautiful people, this is a place to see. Only four hours from the rich Pacific coast, Jalisco has it all, mountains, water-falls, lakes. I was honored to travel there with some dope local hippies, they showed me around and made me feel welcome. Then we took a trip up to Tapalpa to enjoy some music and fresh mushroom tea. What a trippp... That will be in my heart forever...

Bacalar- La laguna de los siete colores

Bacalar
La Laguna of seven color's...
Where do I begin, this place holds a magic I have never felt before.
It's like your mind has taken a vacation and your heart is here, present, enjoying the moment like never before. This was the place where creation of mother earth first started, the light birthed from the darkness, and created every color blue possible. As soon as I stepped onto the dock at Los Aluxes, tears of joy and remembrance was the only feeling. Wow, I'm feeling Mexico for the first time. Bacalar is a Mind blowing and heart expanding place to be... http://bacalarlagunazul.com
